Example 1
The following video was created on Camtasia using a SMART Slate and was uploaded to YouTube. My school district has a partnership with YouTube that allows us unlimited video length but it allows general users a maximum of 10-12 minutes of video upload length.
The students had to complete a video guide to go along with this video. It is available here.

Example 2
The following video was created on ShowMe, a FREE application for the Apple iPad. As a part of a class project, students had to create their own instructional video and post it to the application's website. There it was linked to a teacher-created database that was shared with the entire student population at our high school as a free math resource created by their peers. Students created video guides to accompany the videos.
Example 3
The following video was created with Jing by TechSmith. The Pro version allows the video to be saved as an MPEG-4 file. Videos can be up to 5 minutes in length and will capture whatever you do on your screen. This software is great for narrating a PowerPoint or an online resource!
Example 4
The following video was created with a camcorder set up on a tripod. The video was compressed with Windows Movie Maker (standard software on most Windows-powered computers) to ensure it would be less than 100 MB, the file size limit through Weebly Pro. The video quality is easier to maintain if videos are about 4 minutes in length (as separate clips, which works nicely for the attention span of students!).
Example 5
The following video was made using a document camera and video capturing software. To record the video, the Ladibug software was used through a computer to capture what was under the document camera. This is a good tool if you prefer pencil and paper in your video.
Example 6
The following video was created on an Apple iPhone and then easily uploaded to YouTube via the "Send to YouTube" feature available after you capture video. You must already have an existing YouTube account and your video file needs to be short unless you are on a WiFi connection. The data rate is approximately 10MB/min so larger files are easier to import to a computer using a USB cable.
