William Kiker
William Kiker is a graduate of the UTeach Program at UT Austin and will complete his Masters Degree in Mathematics this coming August. This next school year will mark his third with The Academy for Global Studies. He has taught Algebra 2 and Pre-Calculus during his time with the global studies program.

Robert GonzalesRobert Gonzales is also a graduate of the UTeach Program at UT Austin. He has worked in Austin ISD for nine years, taking two years out of the chemistry classroom to be a department chair and instructional coach. He has taught Chemistry at The Academy for Global Studies and is a Chemistry Trainer for Laying the Foundation.

The Academy for Global Studies at Austin High School, Austin, TX
The Academy for Global Studies (AGS) is a program within Austin High School, providing an internationally focused and academically challenging curriculum to a close-knit community of learners. Students undertake a course of study that highlights the interrelatedness and connections among world regions that combine to shape our increasingly global society. Students explore cultural traditions both on the world and local scales, while undertaking a rigorous course load of both pre-AP and AP courses. AGS is a member of the International Studies Schools Network, a national network of schools that share a common Graduate Profile.
